Seeing Sukij Off on His Journey Home to Thailand

Hello Friends,

John Davila spoke this afternoon with Sukij’s Aunt asking if it would be okay and what she thought of the idea if many of his friends came together to see Sukij off on his trip home to Thailand. She thought it was a wonderful idea that so many of his friends would want to do this for him. John explained it wouldn’t be a visit but only to smile and wave good-bye and show Sukij our love and support for his journey home.

  • We are planning to meet in the lobby at Washington Adventist Hospital at 8:00 am
  • We will be in the main lobby of the hospital (there is also an emergency room lobby)
  • There will not be time to talk or visit with Sukij and we don’t want take any of his energy away that he will need for long flight home. Please remember that talking with Sukij weakens him.
  • Sukij is to be released around 8:30 am.
  • Please bring any signs, balloons etc. NOT to give Sukij but to hold and show our support and love.
  • Please remember we do not want to weaken any strength that Sukij has built up for his difficult journey home. It is his wish that he is able to return to Bangkok to see his family and we do not want to do anything to jeopardize his wish.
  • The address is:

Washington Adventist Hospital

7600 Carroll Avenue

Takoma Park, MD 20912

Please keep praying for Sukij and hope to see many of you tomorrow.

-Cheryl

Obviously we will not be there, so please throw in a wave for us and a big cheer!
